Rep. Governors having to raise taxes

Report here of Rep. Gov's finding that they have to raise taxes to meet needs of their state, and are having to ask voters for spending limit increases, saying that budget cuts "are untenable" - what about a freeze on budget spending increases? Eliminate spending increases, and your budget will almost automatically get 'tighter' (in a positive sense, that is), with a smaller deficit number. No mention of any Dem. Gov.'s doing the same, but you can assume that that is the case in regard to them as well. Another 'no balance' article by an AP writer (I'd say reporter, but I'm not sure any AP writer exactly qualifies for that title, as they all seem to have a politically motivated agenda, inserting their opinion in their 'reporting', rather than just reporting facts, and letting us decide whether there is any merit or not to what they report.).
