Canada unveils new anti-terrorism measures

As reported here, the Canadian government, under new Prime Minister Stephen Harper is beefing up security measures for airports, airports, railway systems and marine ports in the next few months, as well as at border crossings, in the wake of the major terrorism arrests made recently in Toronto. There will also be examinations of current anti-terrorism legislation, with the idea of bolstering those laws.

After years of having a liberal government in power that basically did nothing to protect its citizens (and by extension, its neighbor to the south), Canada now has a PM that gets it, in the global war on terror. This is very good news, indeed, and most welcome.
