Jumping through hoops!

Wow! Did I just jump through a bunch of hoops, or what? What's that you say - what hoops? Oh ... sorry, I forget that you can't read my mind.

Well, here's the story. I wanted to update my profile with a picture appropriate to the name I chose to use (check out my full profile to see the pic - I think you'll like it). Anyway, I thought it would be relatively easy to do - wrong!

To make a fairly long story short, I had to download a couple of (free) programs, install them, then go through what initially was a confusing process - which is now fairly easy, btw - create a new post to upload the picture to, go into the HTML of that post, copy the pic code string, go to the edit my profile page, paste the string, and then save my profile. Voila! My pic is up. (oh, and then I also had to delete that post) Sheesh!

Anyway, as I learn more of this stuff, I may comment on it - or not - in the future. Take a look at my pic, and please let me know what you think.

Full Disclosure #1

With the revelations in the news regarding individuals being paid by the government and/or political party entities, and the backlash in the blogosphere that has resulted from that, my brother and I state that neither of us are being paid by anyone to write this blog. Not that getting paid is such a bad thing ... but we are not receiving, and will not accept any, money for doing this, period. (Well maybe ... have to see what kind of offer we get, eh?)

That being said, we also state that IF this should ever change, we will announce that fact immediately, and let all of you flog us for being the dog mercenaries that we have become ... not that's it's likely to happen however. (Getting paid, that is ... the flogging? That's up to all of you.)

So please, don't accuse us of accepting money for expressing our views, ok? We just got started!

Welcome to our new blog

Hi, and welcome to our new blog. Since we have just set this up, we don't have anything to blog on quite yet, but please stay tuned as we both have a lot on our minds that we feel is worth sharing, and both my brother and I welcome your comments to our posts; constructive criticism is welcome, as well as expansions to what we have to say, while flames and trolls (we know you're out there) will be cheerfully ignored.
